Scales and Weighing Accessories

To choose a scale, compare maximum capacity, resolution, units, display and power source. For a mechanical model check the graduation; for a digital one, battery and the stated functions. Capacity should comfortably exceed the expected weight and the support system used.

Tare the sack or accessory before weighing and avoid keeping the fish suspended longer than necessary. If the item includes a tape, check its length and scale.
